April TV Fixtures
|
All 4 fixtures changed for TV & 3 of them subject to change if they progress in Europe. What a shambles.
Chelsea (a) Sunday - 4:30pm. Stoke City (h) Monday - 8pm. Arsenal (a) Monday - 8pm. Man City (h) Sunday - 2:15pm.

Re: April TV Fixtures

Yes there's that too.
With the move to the OS, the performances, and signings and the board etc etc etc over the past two seasons it's almost as if the football has become secondary, it's now a date in the diary when we all know we are going to meet up and have a few beers and all of our mates will be there. For some it's almost having the excuse of paying out for an ST and therefore having to use it (and the say excuse to the missus!). i desperately want the football to be better and to have a team and a club to be proud of again, but until then it's become less about the game and more about friends.

Cheers for that info.
Wont matter for the Southampton game on the 31st, it will be 3pm for me too! My fist game at the new stadium.

B - Yes, I hear you. Funny enough we have just had a good run of 3pm Saturday games with 3 more to come. It's not just the game itself, you are less likely to have a good DRINK if it's Sunday/Monday.

PD
No, but Sunday games are becoming increasingly difficult depending on what time of the day and evening games can be an issue too. I knew I'd be missing 2 or 3 maybe, but this is going to make it 4 or 5 now. Plus it looks like next season they will be introducing Saturday night games too. Some of my mates travel from a lot further away and evening games mean they don't get home until the early hours and one of us has to be up at 3am for work.
I'd renew in a shot if we got relegated, I hate the amount of games that get moved.

Hang on a minute though! think the clocks change in NSW at the end of March? when do they change in the UK as that puts and entirely different spin on things???
The 8pm KO then becomes a 6am for me, or if the clocks change at the same time in the UK, a 5am makes the Man city game a late nigh fixture for me, the Chelsea game is a cunt either way..........

Monday night games are great for this side of the planet, its a 7am KO for me, no getting up in the small hours.
The Chelsea KO is a bit of a cunt though! 3-30am :-(

It's getting to the point now that I can no longer justify having a ST due to the amount of games I'll miss when moved for TV. Sky have ruined football in so many ways.

Lucky the march is on at the Burnley game as we now only have one more Sat 3pm (Southampton) at home for the rest of the season.

Re: April TV Fixtures

Why have the M City game on tv.They’ll have already won the league by then, plus may well have the two legs of the champions league semi final to play either side of our game. And they then say its dependent on champions league involvement and schedule,so why bother with it at all.
